This week, Cary Kolat breaks down the proper training techniques to get you and your team primed and ready for wrestling season during the preseason phase of the year. The first thing Kolat starts with while coaching is getting his team’s conditioning back up. He’s also looking to get the rust off everyone’s stance and motion while making sure to not allow them to develop new bad habits. While training during preseason Kolat suggests starting with practicing your single, double, and high crotch as well as having 3-4 finishes out of each of those. Kolat also emphasizes top and bottom wrestling during the preseason.
