Don’t Be Afraid to Steal
This week on Mental Mondays, Ben Askren was inspired by a passage from the current book he’s reading Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World By David Epstein. This passage gives an example of why sticking to your own ideals and not keeping an open mind to what’s working for others will hinder long term success. Askren has never been afraid to learn from others. There is nothing wrong with taking what is working for others and replicating it for yourself and situation.
