I was so excited to be ordering another one is these bags. The last one still looks as good as new and it’s 3 years old and been all over the US to Wrestling tournaments and also used as a high school book bag. Loved the soft protected pocket for the laptop.
Well, this new style/upgrade in my opinion really messed up the bag. Highly disappointed with The spring loaded bars they added I guess for more support to hold the bag up, puts way to much pressure on the back of a laptop and if you aren’t using the pocket for a laptop, the bars push way to far in and closes the inside pocket.
The version before this had a flat padded surface all the way across and no bars. These bars are about an inch wide and about 6″ apart, leaving a big gap in between.
I gave it to someone else the same day I received it.

A great Gearpack for all of your wrestling needs and for traveling as well! I highly recommend this bag for any wrestler or coach out there who needs to upgrade to a much more compartment backpack for their essentials.
