When it came to building a shoe for power, we knew we needed to focus on how energy flows through the body during high-intensity moments. That’s where the PowerDRIVE ™ platform came into play. During our conversations with Kyle Snyder, he emphasized the importance of maximizing energy output without compromising foot protection. He wanted something that could support him during extreme push-offs and high-pressure movements while safeguarding against common injuries like turf toe.
XtraGRIP Upper: Traction from Every Angle
Another key insight from Kyle was about grip. In high-level competition, even the slightest slip can cost you. That's why our shoe design team focused on enhancing traction with the XtraGRIP upper treatment.
The XtraGRIP treatment wraps around the shoe, providing all-around traction so that wrestlers can stay locked in from every position—whether they’re driving forward, pivoting, or holding their ground.
