The Future of Greco-Roman Joins Team RUDIS

MARYSVILLE, OH — RUDIS is proud to welcome Beka Melelashvili as the first Greco-Roman wrestler to join Team RUDIS.

Beka made history in 2024 becoming the first American to medal in the Greco-Roman U23 Worlds. His performance on the international stage signals the arrival of a new era in American Greco.

Born into the sport through his father, a former world champion and lifelong inspiration, Beka’s story is one of early passion turned obsession. “Wrestling isn’t just a sport to me it’s a lifestyle. It’s taught me discipline, mental toughness and lots of other great things. Wrestling has shaped who I am, on and off the mat,” said Beka.

“Beka isn’t just joining Team RUDIS—he’s expanding what it means to be part of it,” said Natalie Rohyans, Chief Brand Officer at RUDIS. “His discipline, his heart, and his belief in Greco as an art form reflect everything we value.”

Beka is the embodiment of what RUDIS stands for: the relentless pursuit of growth, passion, and soul-level commitment to the sport.

“Being the first Greco wrestler on Team RUDIS is an honor,” he shares. “This team motivates me to keep raising my level. It’s inspiring to be surrounded by people who are all chasing greatness.”

Beka is laying the groundwork for what comes next for Greco, the sport, and the soul of wrestling.

A new legacy starts now.
